Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an outstanding professor of psychology since 1993 and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. It is widely believed that she was the one who starting the modern scientific study of children's witness memory as well as child victimes as witness in court situations. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive She has also received a number of grants and has been the recipient of many honors both national and internationally. She has advised a variety of government agencies and governments around the globe on policies and research relating to child victims in the justice system. She serves as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center and was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, including Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is also a part of Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding Member) International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division and Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family policy and practice.
